Inspired by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, who plays with the combination of different natural elements such as the dynanism of the lightning, shadows and the properties of different raw materials.
Our concept was developed through an origami technique, used for the pack structure and also to highlight the traditional aspect of the Japanese culture, contrasting with a modern graphic identity, as an innovation tool. Based on Tadao’s philosophy, the folds were visible and well displayed enhancing the paper itself without damaging it with ink.
Thanks to the fact of not having used adhesives, it allowed us to play and to transform the pack until convert it into a “mat”, which divides both the space and the time of the meal in any location.
