Panela is a typical food from Venezuela and its only ingredient is sugarcane juice. It is the purest, natural and artisanal sweetener that is not refined.
FLOR DE CAÑA is inspired by palafitos, the oldest ecological houses in America. Houses where the pillars are built on bodies of calm water, which achieve optimal living conditions with minimal energy consumption.
The aim of this project is to raise the value of the product through its branding and its packaging. The idea is to minimize the greater amount of waste generated by the current packaging through the elimination of plastic and using recyclable materials
for the new pack.
Currently, sugarcane production in Venezuela has decreased 78% in the last 10 years due to the problems that the country has been going through, such as lack of inputs, inflation, maintenance of machinery and lack of prices adjusted to reality. For this reason the ideal aim of this project is to recover our valuable sugarcane production through international sales from a charity called Healing Venezuela.
