CONCEPT
Silence is the lack of audible sound or presence of sounds of very low intensity. The word silence can also refer to any absence of communication. One third of women worldwide have been a victim of violence in their relationship or of sexual violence by people outside their relationship.
This project is based on the metaphor of being silent to represent violence against women in different cultures. These set of posters illustrate the different colloquial expressions around the world. Using typography, ink and embossing techniques to reflect this social issue.
